Meet Victoria
Hi there!
Life is messy, and sometimes therapy is too. I’m here to help you navigate that mess in a safe, compassionate space where you can process your emotions—whether that’s letting out the frustration you can’t put into words or finally allowing yourself to shed the tears you’ve been holding in for years. Sometimes, the healing process starts with a breakdown, and that’s okay. We’ll face it together.
I believe that empathy, authenticity, and connection are the most powerful tools we have to create lasting change. I don’t believe in a “perfect therapist” or a “perfect therapy session”—we’re both humans, and that’s what makes the work so meaningful. My approach is grounded in being real and showing up as my authentic self. Yes, this means I’ll make jokes when the moment calls for it, and I’ll acknowledge my own missteps, because therapy is about creating a genuine relationship where both of us are seen for who we truly are. My goal is for you to show up as 100% yourself, and I promise to do the same.
My therapeutic framework is relational-cultural theory, which emphasizes empowerment, strengths-based change, and the importance of understanding how culture and trauma shape our lives. In our work together, you’ll find that I prioritize understanding you in the context of your unique experiences and values, and we’ll focus on what you can build from where you are right now.
Outside of therapy, you’ll often find me painting, reading, biking, enjoying live music, or spending time in nature. These are some of the things that help me stay grounded, and remind me of the healing power of creativity and connection.
If you think we’d be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you on your healing journey.
