Inclusive care for neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ adults

At Embark Therapy, I provide trauma-informed counseling for queer neurodivergent adults in Austin and across Texas. This is a space where you don’t have to mask, shrink, or over-explain who you are.

Whether you’re navigating ADHD or autism, working through trauma, or exploring your identity, you deserve support that actually feels understanding and useful.

I provide individual therapy for adults, available virtually across Texas and in person in South Austin.

I also provide neurodiversity-affirming ADHD and Autism assessments, along with executive functioning and skills-based support when it fits your needs.

Sessions are primarily private pay ($150 per 50 minutes), which allows for more flexibility and privacy. I’m also in-network with Aetna, offer a limited number of sliding scale spots, and can provide superbills for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

What you’re experiencing and how we’ll work together

I work with people who often feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or like they’re constantly trying to keep up.

This might include:

  • – ADHD, autism, and executive functioning challenges
  • – Masking, burnout, and sensory overload
  • – Anxiety, depression, and mood-related concerns
  • – Gender, sexuality, and identity exploration
  • – Navigating multiple or complex diagnoses
  • – Trauma, including family or religious experiences
  • – Suicidal thoughts or self-harm (harm-reduction approach; for immediate support, call 988)

In sessions, we focus on what feels most present and difficult in your daily life. That might be burnout, emotional overwhelm, relationships, identity questions, or patterns that keep showing up even when you try to change them.

My approach is collaborative and flexible. I use relational, strengths-based work along with practical tools from CBT and DBT. Together, we focus on building emotional regulation, self-compassion, and a clearer understanding of your patterns so things feel more manageable over time.

The goal isn’t just insight, but meaningful, sustainable change that fits your life.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if past experiences weren’t a good fit. You deserve a space where you can show up as yourself without judgment.
